What about system requirements?As networking and operating systems continue to evolve, minimum requirements tend to grow. Be sure to obtain the services of a competent consultant when designing your system.
**While we support TotalFBO® on Vista Business Edition, unless you have a specific reason for installing Vista, the ease of administration with XP Pro makes it our recommendation for most users. These items are general recommendations. Faster hardware with more memory will always provide better performance. Specific network configurations may require different minimums. What support do I get?90 days of unlimited 24-hour technical support and program updates are included FREE with your purchase. You may choose one of 3 flat-rate CustomerCare™ plans on an annual basis. See Support Options. Can I buy only what I need?Yes, Purchase the full program, specific packages, or just buy individual modules. Is TotalFBO® just for FBOs?No! Since TotalFBO® is so broadly based, almost any type of aviation business can make sue of its features. Included are features for flight schools, repair stations, airport managers, engine/accessory overhaulers, charter operators, as well as FBOs. The program is modular so that one doesn't get overburdened with items that are not needed for a particular operation. Can we get training?Many customers install and begin functioning with minimal assistance from technical Support. Others prefer to attend one of the week-long Training Courses offered regularly in Broken Arrow, OK (recommended). And, when many employees must be trained, our Certified Trainer can come to you! Customers on a service plan receive discounts on training. See Training Options. How do we convert from other software?Many accounting systems can export basic data such as customers, vendors, and inventory in a text format which can be imported by TotalFBO®. Custom conversion assistance is available upon request. How do I upgrade if I have an older version?If you're currently covered by our CustomerCare™ plan, all updates are free. Contact Tech Support for updated licensing and a CD, if necessary. If you're off-service, contact Sales for prices and information on upgrading. You can convert your data from Version 1 to Version 2 and from Version 2 to Version 3 and from Version 3 to Version 5. Contact Tech Support for assistance with this process. Will it work with TouchScreen, bar-code scanners, mag-stripe swipes, or cash drawers?TotalFBO® is designed to work well with most standard types of equipment available. Can I use Vista Home Edition?Windows operating systems which are designed for home use are NOT supported. Although it may be possible to get the program to function using one of these operating systems in a standalone environment, your business network will encounter failures when even one workstation is using a "home use" operating system. Currently, Windows ME, Windows XP Home and Vista Home are Not Supported. Windows operating systems which are no longer supported by Microsoft are not supported. Currently, Windows 95 and Windows NT are not supported.
