In 2000, Horizon Business Concepts announced the implementation of the first-ever wide-area PC-based POS system for
aviation businesses. The TotalFBO® Accounting & Business Management
System was installed at the Mercury Air Group’s Los Angeles data center to
service 19 locations ranging across the nation from California to Georgia.
Now multi-location functionality has expanded throughout all areas of the
program, and larger customers across the country are moving to take advantage of
Enterprise capability.
"Today, we're continuing to see growth in the multiple-location capabilities for our product," said George Lehmann, VP of Research and Development at Horizon. "With
the standard package, FBOs are limited to only combining financials for multiple sites,
operating from separate databases. Now the separate sites can operate uninhibited in real time, and
company management can monitor all aspects of their data for all locations the
instant it has been entered in a single database. With widespread use of the product, customer
feedback has enabled us to meet a wider range of corporate requirements."
The TotalFBO® program
has risen to the top of the aviation marketplace through more than a decade of
constant development and refinement. With over 1200 sites around the world,
Horizon has the largest installed customer base of any general aviation-specific
accounting software anywhere.
Multiple-location capability for
aviation software is uniquely available in the Enterprise Edition of
TotalFBO®. |
